Pennsylvania 211 powered by United Way provides an online directory of health and human services across Pennsylvania.

The information was provided to Pennsylvania 211 by the agencies and organizations themselves. Inclusion in this database does not imply endorsement of an organization or its individual programs or services, nor does omission reflect disapproval. In addition, errors and omissions, whether typographical, clerical or otherwise do sometimes occur, and may occur anywhere within the body of this database.

This database is continually being reviewed and revised for additions, corrections and deletions.

Search Tips

  1. In the Keywords-General Search Terms field, type the name of an agency, program or type of service that you are looking for. For example: Agency (Water Street Ministries), program (Water Street Health Services), type of service (Medical Services). Use “quotes” around phrases, watch out for plurals (pantry vs. pantries).
  2. Enter the county you are searching for resources in the Geographic Area Served field. If you choose a county in the County Where Agency is Physically Located field you will not get results for statewide/nationwide services.
  3. To find resources nearest to your location, enter a ZIP code in the Show Results by Distance from Zip Code field.
  4. To get more information about a program, click on the name. (Please be sure to check that the program descriptive information meets your needs, service area, etc.)
  5. If you are not able to find the services you need or have trouble navigating the online database, please call 211 or (855) 567-5341.
  6. Keep in mind that some programs are not fully represented in the database as Pennsylvania does not attempt to replicate data that is provided by a specialized information and referral service.  For example, referrals are made to Child Care Information Services for complete child care information.
